Food Service
Carrier Lodge is a bright and open dining hall which easily accommodates
up to 275 people for meals. Our delicious meals are served in a buffet
style setting.
Sharing meals together in the lodge has enriched the
camp experience for decades. The atmosphere is filled with memories of
food, songs, and the spirit of Camp Magruder.
Special Meal Requests
Groups are welcome to make special
meal requests. Contact
the Food
Service Manager for special menus and pricing.
When communicated in advance, we generally can provide menu items that will accommodate diabetic, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, and vegan needs.
Outside of these, we need you to bring the food items you require. Food allergies should always be communicated directly with the Food Service Manager.
There are some complex needs that we may not be able to accommodate.

Type of Food
We feature healthy, delicious menus with whole grains, no trans fats,
organic/local/sustainable produce when possible, and home-made
scratch cooking.
