Food Service

Carrier Lodge is a bright and open dining hall which easily accomodates up to 250 people for meals. Our delicious meals are served in a buffet or family-style setting.

Sharing meals together in the lodge has enriched the camp experience for decades. The atmosphere is filled with memories of food, songs, and the spirit of Camp Magruder.

Catering Options

Groups of 20-50 people staying in select accomodations may make special arrangements for catering services to their lodges. Contact the Food Service Manager for special menus and pricing.

Type of Food

We feature healthy, delicious menus with whole grains, no trans fats, organic/local/sustainable produce when possible, and home-made from scratch cooking.

With 10-14 days advance notice, we are able to provide substitute entrees for the following diets: vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, lactose/dairy-free, nut allergies.

To discuss special dietary needs and options, Contact the Food Service Manager 10-14 days prior to arrival or call 503-355-2310. The minimum charge for meal service is the number you have reserved 5 days prior to arrival.

Rates

Breakfast - $6 per person

Lunch - $8 per person

Dinner - $9 per person

Optional Dishwashing Service - $45 per meal for groups under 80. Larger groups add $25 per meal for each additional increment of 80 people. Please schedule in advance.

Child Meals - 40% off above rates for children ages 3-9 with family retreat groups. No charge for children ages 2 and under.
