Camp Magruder welcomes reservations from all groups and organizations. We generally accept reservations up to 50 weeks in advance. If you would like assistance planning your event please contact our Camp Office.

Whether you are interested in joining us at camp for the day or bringing a group out for an overnight stay, all price quotes include the amenities listed below. |
How to Make a Reservation
1. Determine the size and nature of your group. 2. Review our facilities and choose what's best suited for your needs. 3. Call the Camp Office (503-355-2310) to confirm availability and secure a reservation. 4. Submit a deposit amounting to 25% of your total estimated fees within two weeks to confirm your reservation (Unsecured reservations will be only held for two weeks after the booking date). Cancellation policy Deposit is refundable if cancelled at least 180 days prior to the event, less a $100 administrative fee. Inside 180 days, no deposits are refundable and the group is responsible for 80% of the projected invoice total, unless the facilities are re-booked by another group. Then the deposit, less a $100 administrative fee, will be refunded. Groups are responsible for 100% of meals reserved at final count given two weeks before arrival. |
Amenities
The Beach Enjoy seven miles of pristine beachfront perfect for playing in the sand, strolling by the water, and enjoying the sunset each night. Hiking & Interpretive Trails We have several hiking trails on-site ranging from easy to moderate in difficulty. The Ocean View Nature Trail, Lakeside Nature Trail, Beach Walks, Wetland Nature Walk, and Nature Discovery Loop are among the favorites of guests. Don’t forget to ask for a hiker's map at the Camp Office to plan your next trail adventure. Sports Fields The camp has three Sports Fields (North Ball Field, located just beyond the camp entrance, Marvel Field, located west of the sports court, and the Gathering Space, located in the center of camp. The fields can accommodate recreational games of soccer, baseball, softball, Frisbee, football, tag, or any other group games that require a large open space. Sports Court Enjoy the use of our outdoor sports court year-round. We have basketballs, volleyballs, softballs, horseshoes, croquet, soccer balls, bocce balls, badminton sets, and much more available for checkout at the Camp Office or feel free to bring your own equipment. Ga-Ga Pit Play this fast paced camp-friendly version of dodgeball where every player has an equal chance of emerging the winner! Played with a soft plastic ball, players must try to eliminate other players from the game by hitting them with the ball below the knees. Playground Children can enjoy the swings, play structure, slides, or sandbox in the Benjamin Lemmond playground. Located north of the sports court, this is a favorite past time for kids and adults alike. Sand Volleyball Court The volleyball court is a sand court. Campfire Circles Camp Magruder has six campfire circles complete with seating and firewood available for our guests. Upon check-in you will be assigned a campfire circle to use if desired. Campfires are allowed in campfire circles or on the beach. Campfire circles may be used for gatherings, songs, skits, s’mores and for cooking over the fire. Arrange with Reservations Coordinator to request s’more supplies for your group for a small additional fee. Contemplative Spaces Take time to reflect and meditate while you are away by walking the labyrinth, worshiping at lakeside chapel, or reflecting by the lake in the meditation patio. Tide Pools Hike south along the lakeside trail past hidden lake, through the village of Barview, then along the railroad grade to the Three Graces rock formation near the mouth of Tillamook Bay at low tide to explore a sea cave and some wonderful tide pools.
